The century star of Kannada cinema Dr Shivarajakumar has acted for the first time in the non Kannada film that is 100th film of towering actor Balakrishna ‘Gauthamiputhra Shatakarni’.

Dr Shivarajakumar speaking to a few media friends after Srikanta audio release on Saturday night said it is because of affection he agreed. Even Telugu superstar Balakrishna had in mind to take me to Telugu films from a long time but he felt appropriate in his 100th film. I have worked for four days for this Telugu film. It has historical significance. My portion would come for five minutes in the film. The makeup, atmosphere, generosity of the people in Andhra Pradesh was so good. Some of the film have even recognized my recent ‘Killing Veerappan’ and said they wish to see me again and again in Telugu films. I have done the dubbing for the important portion in the film. In the past someone asked for my presence in Aamir Khan film but it was not further moved up he said.

On his answers to other questions:

·        Don’t compare me to my father. There can be only one Dr Rajakumar. He has not acted in other language films.

·        My daughter is studying on super specialization on plastic surgery and it is after MS studies. Son in law is also in super specialization on Urology.

·        On his forthcoming films ready for release Dr Shiv says in January 2017 ‘Srikanta’ is releasing, Bangara son of Bangarada Manushya, Leader, Tagaru follows, for The Villain in January Sudeep portions will be shot and sometime in February I join the team.

·        The demonetization was obvious topic came up in mind of Dr Shiv. It is affecting the common people is what he does not like. It should have been further planned well. It has not affected me as everything is in clean transactions. Imagine going to bank and standing in queues by common people.
